I mentioned in my First
Post earlier that my boys and I started TTM’ing back in Spring Training.
According to the spreadsheet I’ve used to track our sends/returns, this is unique
success #275 of 2019. I intend to use short posts like this to track returns.
Woods-Richardson was the Mets’ 2018
second-round pick out of Kempner High School (Sugar Land, TX). He was moved
before the deadline to the Blue Jays (with Anthony Kay) for Marcus Stroman. I’m
not a talent evaluator, but it seems like he might be set for Double-A as a 19 year
old next season after 100+ innings in High-A this year. He was better post
trade; he had a 2.54 ERA over 28.1 innings with strong opponents batting
average (0.182) and WHIP (0.88) for Dunedin.
